The Astrup Group is made up of multiple family-run brands, dedicated to eco-friendly and inspiring toys for children. Two main brands of the group are By Astrup and MaMaMeMo, heartwarming brands focused around family, wonder, quality, and joy. MaMaMeMo create a beautiful range of wooden toys, designed to be durable and passed on from one child to the next to reduce waste and keep imaginative play going. The founders, Anette and Paul, created the brand name with the first 2 letters of their children’s names, Marie, Mads, Mette, and Morten. By Astrup was created in loving memory of their daughter Marie, after a long hard battle with leukaemia. Every product featuring the By Astrup butterfly contributes towards The Danish Child Cancer Foundation, as each year they donate the equivalent of Marie’s salary. Astrup is dedicated to environmental and social responsibility, with their strong recycling initiative and membership of Amfori - a global organisation focused on sustainable trade. All their toys are created with sustainable FSC-certified wood, ensuring eco-friendly toys that can be enjoyed for years to come.
