The Original Wooden Duck Company, DCUK was formed in 2004 in Britain. After an inspiring trip to Indonesia where they fell in love with the grace, speed, and form of the Runner Duck. Each duck is lovingly hand carved in Indonesia from bamboo roots and offcuts, reducing waste, creating beautiful sustainable pieces, and keeping traditional skills thriving. The DCUK team is constantly creating interesting and charming designs for their products, ensuring something new and exciting is always available. When each duck is finished, they are polished and hand painted in their different designs, and sent on their journeys to new homes. Whether tall or small, spotty boots or floral, these wooden creatures are designed to bring smiles where ever they go.
